Vermiculite
Micronized produces Exfoliated Vermiculite from a number of different ore grades. Medium Grade Vermiculite is produced at an average bulk density of 90g per liter, hydrocarbon free with a plant throughput capacity of 500 000 bags per annum. MCF – Vermiculite MCF Vermiculite is an asbestos-free property blend of vermiculite and other phyllosilicate and silicate mineral powders. It is utilised as a composite "speciality" filler in a variety of formulations for its unique physico-chemical, surface and structure related properties. It can be used in speciality paint formulations, animal feeds and various agricultural and horticultural applications as well as a replacement for asbestos in reinforcing applications. RSU – Vermiculite RSU Vermiculite is an asbestos-free, fine vermiculite. It is utilised as a composite specialty filler in a variety of formulations for its unique platelet, surface and structure related properties. It can be used in specialty paint formulations, animal feeds and various agricultural and horticultural applications. PLV – 150 PLV-150 is a pure vermiculite, specially processed by proprietary techniques to impart to the product unique chemical-physical properties. It is light biscuit-brown (resembling bentonite) in colour. The "feel" of the product is slightly "oily". This is due to the fact that the fine lamelae "glide" over each other. The characteristic gives it exceptional reinforcement, slip and other related properties, all of which are used in various applications in industry. PLV 150 has exceptional reinforcement, slip and other related properties, all of which are used in various applications in industry, including processing aids and fillers. PL – 20 PL-20 is a selection of potassium, aluminium and iron silicates all of which have a laminar structure. This laminar structure gives coatings and compounds excellent barrier protection, inertness and UV stability.
